Athletic trainers typically work with professional athletes, assessing and treating injuries as well as rehabilitating those injuries. Alongside the obvious hands-on aspect of working as an athletic trainer is the administrative portion, which includes developing policy and procedures, budgeting, and documentation of the patient's health record.
